Technology

CO2 dry ice is produced under sterile conditions and sheared into crystals thus used as little “scalpels”

Fragments of tissue are cut off by the impact of the crystals (abrasion)

coolPen acts as a selective cutting instrument, as dysfunctional cells react differently to the impact of the crystals and can be cut off earlier than healthy elastic tissue
